This Privacy Policy explains how London Tint Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you contact us or use this website. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Who we are

London Tint Studio is the data controller responsible for your personal information. We are a premium automotive styling studio based in Marylebone, London, offering window tinting, vehicle wrapping and paint protection film.

2. The information we collect

We only collect the personal information you choose to share with us when making an enquiry. This is typically provided through our online enquiry form, by WhatsApp, by email or over the telephone, and may include:

  • Your name;
  • Your contact details (telephone number and email address);
  • Details about your vehicle (make, model, age, current colour and number of doors);
  • The content of your message or job requirements, and any quote or booking details that follow.

3. Our lawful basis for processing

Under UK GDPR we must have a lawful basis to process your personal information. Depending on the circumstances, we rely on the following:

  • Consent — where you have chosen to contact us, for example by submitting the enquiry form or messaging us on WhatsApp. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
  • Steps prior to entering into a contract — where we process your details to prepare a quote or arrange work on your vehicle at your request.
  • Legitimate interests — to respond to your enquiry, manage our relationship with you and keep accurate records of work carried out, in a way you would reasonably expect and which does not override your rights.

4. How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

  • Respond to your enquiries and questions;
  • Prepare and provide quotes for our services;
  • Arrange, carry out and follow up on work on your vehicle;
  • Honour our lifetime warranty and keep a record of the work completed;
  • Keep proper business and accounting records as required by law.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only where necessary to provide our services or meet our legal obligations, including with:

  • Trusted service providers who help us operate, such as communications, email and messaging providers, and our IT and hosting suppliers — who act as processors on our behalf;
  • Professional advisers (such as our accountant) and HM Revenue & Customs, where required for tax and accounting purposes;
  • Law enforcement or other authorities where we are legally required to do so.

If you choose to contact us via WhatsApp, your messages are also handled by WhatsApp in accordance with WhatsApp’s own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing it before messaging us.

6. How long we keep your information

We keep your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this policy. Enquiries that do not result in work are kept for a short period and then deleted. Where we carry out work on your vehicle, we retain the relevant records for as long as needed to support our lifetime warranty and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, after which the information is securely deleted or anonymised.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to keep your personal information secure and to protect it against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. Access to your information is limited to those who need it to provide our services.

  • The right to rectification — to have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected;
